In 2017 WeatherAll Solutions applied the TRM WeatherAll® system to waterproof the windows, doors and penetrations on a two-storey straw bale house.

 

The owner of the house was seeking a Code Compliance Certificate but the council wanted new mechanical flashings installed to the perimeters of the doors and windows. WeatherAll Solutions provided the TRM WeatherAll® solution without the need to install new metal or PVC flashings.

 

The mechanical flashing alternative to TRM would have been costly, time consuming and destructive. Ultimately, the use of TRM was an efficient and cost effective way for the owner to satisfy the council.
